Dear Pastors, Booking Agents, and people just generally interested in this ministry:

Before you delve into all the information that lies ahead, please let me briefly share my heart with you. The Apostle Paul, in the book of Romans, described himself as being "set apart for the Gospel of God." That's the man I long to be. Lord please make me a radical for the Gospel! My prayer is that everything in my life and ministry would pale in the light of God's wonderful love and grace. These are the only things that are really important, and the things that will still be standing long after this universe that we live in is but a distant memory.

As I share from my heart and play songs, my hope is that these very human actions of mine would fade and be forgotten, and that all that an audience or congregation will remember is a special time with the Holy Spirit. Time spent with Jesus and being drawn closer to Him.

Keith Green often wore a t-shirt that proclaimed, "Jesus is the Only Star!" That image often plays across my mind as I move through this strange world of music and ministry, mud huts, and motel rooms. I understand the need for biographies, promotional material, web pages, and the like. But to be completely honest, these things tend to make me a little uncomfortable.

Even though God has somehow allowed me the incredible privilege of bouncing around the planet with my beat up guitar and a pocket full of stories, the reality is that I'm simply a sinner saved by grace. A wretch who can truly only claim the glory of salvation through the all consuming and unconditional love of Jesus Christ, Son of God. I love you Jesus!
